General Warranty Terms
Products are warranted for defects in materials and workmanship, including repairs and services within 24 months from the date of purchase.
- The warranty provided by Kaadas Singapore applies to the manufacturer’s defects for Products used and purchased within Singapore.
- Warranty is applicable for Products distributed through Kaadas Singapore or dealers who are authorised for the sale of Kaadas Digital locks in Singapore.
- Warranty and repair services can only be provided by Kaadas Singapore technician(s) or dealers authorised by Kaadas Singapore.
- All customers must register their Kaadas lock warranty with us on our website within one week of date of installation of locks, prior to making a Warranty claim.
- On a case-by-case basis, services will be charged even during the warranty period. The Warranty DOES NOT APPLY to the below cases and not limited to:
- Any damage not caused by manufacturing faults.
- Any damage caused by improper transportation, installation and maintenance.
- Any signs of abuse or misuse of the Product like relentlessly cleaning, scratching and overloading etc.
- Any misplacement of parts of the Product like the lost of emergency backup keys for digital locks.
- Products and their components have not been installed as per the security maintenance and operational instructions given by the manufacturer, recommended by Kaadas Singapore technicians or dealer authorised by Kaadas Singapore
- The equipment has been repaired, altered, or dismantled by any other person that is not of Kaadas Singapore technicians or employees of a dealer authorised by Kaadas Singapore.
- Defects caused by voltage changes abnormally, energy supply is not stable and battery leakage.
- Defects caused by fire and explosions, a bolt of lightning, turbulence power, negligence, accidents and other natural disasters or wrong deviation due to the installation and use is inconsistent with the recommendations.
- Defects caused by insects such as lizards, mice, cockroaches, etc.
- Defects caused by a chemical reaction, products being dregs (lime), detergents, the temperature is too high, too much dust, and environments with corrosive elements such as cement factories, farms, etc.
- Components that require replacement during normal use due to wear and tear by the natural characteristic of the product including accessories.
- Payment not made in full for the product or its accessories
- Warranty will not be effective if the equipment is being operated incorrectly as recommended by Kaadas Singapore.
- Under this Warranty, Kaadas Singapore is responsible for repairing or replacing defective products. This warranty coverage will not, under any circumstances, extend to any loss (including financial loss) or injury to a person or loss or damage to property or any incidental, contingent, special or any direct or indirect loss and consequential damages including but not limited to losses incurred due to any delay in rendering service and loss of use while awaiting for replacement parts to arrive. For all Kaadas accessories, including remote, module, RFID tags or RFID stickers, customers are required to bring the accessories to Kaadas Singapore office for troubleshooting and replacement.
- Kaadas Singapore reserves the right to impose additional costs or to refuse to take part in the warranty when the product is installed in inaccessible or endangered positions by technicians or employees of Kaadas Singapore or Kaadas Singapore authorised dealer.
- Kaadas Singapore decision is based on the results of the determination of all causes related to the complaint of defects, damage or damage to the product.
- Kaadas Singapore authorised dealers and employees may not modify or extend the terms of this warranty in any manner whatsoever.
- The purchase or sale will not make a claim under this warranty for personal injury, property damage or consequential damage.
- Failure to comply with the provisions of Points 6, 7 and 9, Kaadas Singapore reserves the right to refuse warranty claims.
